Commercial Partners Realty Broker Installed as 2009 FGCAR President
Tampa, FL -- Commercial Partners Realty’s Broker/President Scott Clendening was installed as the 2009 President of the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of REALTORS ® (FGCAR), which serves the commercial real estate interests of professionals throughout the Tampa Bay and the Gulf Coast Region of Florida.
The ceremony to install FGCAR’s 2009 Officers and Board of Directors was held on January 15, 2009, during a luncheon meeting held at the Rusty Pelican on Rocky Point Drive in Tampa, FL. Ron Weaver of the law firm Stearns, Weaver, Miller, Weissler, Alhadeff & Sitterson was the installation officer, as well as the guest speaker at the event. Mr. Weaver outlined current growth management issues and the effects of recent legislation on development.
Mr. Clendening praised the unity of Tampa Bay’s brokerage community and called for increased participation of FGCAR members towards community needs and political affairs. Clendening went on to outline the association’s goals for the upcoming year, including enhancing data exchange, expanding education opportunities, promoting FGCAR to the community and increasing both broker and affiliate membership.
